Beech wood ( Fagus Sylvatica )

Our modern equipment guarantees perfect quality and a variety of sizes : short,super short,long , different quality grades and different length,width and thickness.

Kiln Dry: It is available for shipment within 45 days after the order is confirmed and always shipped through containers.
Air dried: Available for shipment within 30 days after the order is confirmed and is provided for bulk carriage on vessel board of the vessel.

Quality kiln dried: Moisture contents 8 – 10%
Thickness: 18/27/30/40 mm

Quality fresh cut:air dried (30 – 60%) Thickness :20 - 42 mm

Edged glued panels

The raw material for panels manufacturing is represented by beech strips, specially made in hard essence such as beech. The quality of the strips : nodosity, color, defines the three quality classes for the planks :
A/A : uniform color with radial cut, no red ticker;
B/B : uniform color, radial and tangential cut, no nodosities;
C/C : differences are allowed regarding color and ticker.
The sizes of the strips are as follows :
thickness – 18/27/30/40 mm
width – 40/50/60/70 mm
length from 200 - 1000 mm.
Upon customer request, as well, the planks could be delivered as such (no finishing) or after an additional surface treatment by oiling or varnishing. The oiling or varnishing is increasing the value of the product by improving the aesthetical features and the resistance against humidity.
The packing is made for each plank in polyethylene film.
The field of application of massive planks are various, starting from furniture, table panels, shelves up to construction elements: ladder stairs, panel works and flooring.
The quality :
A common standard color matching; occasionally eyeknots up to 3 mm; mineral streaks (beech - 1 piece per 1 cut off, maximum dimensions 20 mm x 1 mm) other species without limit
B natural wood discoloration; healthy grain (sap) dark brown up to 2% of the panel area; eyeknots up to 5 mm; healthy wood color knots up to 8 mm; light blue stain; mineral streaks without limit
C any natural discolaration; healthy grain (sap) dark brown up to 50% of the panel area; healthy wood color knots up to 8 mm; light blue stain; mineral streaks without limit Dany natural discoloration, healthy grain (sap) dark brown up to 100% of the panel area; eyeknots up to 5 mm; healthy wood color knots up to 8 mm; blue stain without limit; mineral streaks without limit; wood filler of burst knots and small defects
The other quality conditions : Abnormalities which are not mentioned above are not allowed. Edge glued panels must be mechanicaly safe without delaminations and cracks.
